Glory Essen - On February 11, Glory Kickboxing returns to Germany with Glory 83, after the great success of Glory 82 in Bonn, this time it goes to Essen. We can look forward to two title fights and action loaded fight card with German fighters.

In the main event, light heavyweight champion Sergej Maslobojev will defend his title against No. 1 challenger Donegi Abena in a rematch.

There will also be a middleweight title fight in the co-main event with champion Donovan Wisse defending his belt against top contender Cesar Almeida. The 35-year-old champion from Lithuania is currently undefeated at Glory and most recently secured a points victory over Tarik Khababez at Glory Collision 4. Prior to that, he defeated Donegi Abena once before, securing a points victory over the fighter from Suriname at Glory 79.

The 24-year-old Donegi Abena fought his way back from his loss to current champion Maslobojey and defeated Felipe Micheletti at Glory Collision 4 to earn the rematch.

In the co-main event, middleweight champion Donovan Wisse will defend his title against Brazilian Cesar Almeida. The 25-year-old champion enters this duel with a winning streak of six fights. In 2021, he was already able to defeat Cesar Almeida once, securing a points victory at Glory 74. In his last fight he was able to defeat Juri de Sousa via point decision.

Brazilian Cesar Almeida with over 50 fights is looking to make up for his last loss to Wisse and secure the Glory gold. In his last fight at Glory Collision 4, he was able to defeat Serkan Ozcaglayan via point decision.
